About Joseph and Louise - The Acupuncture Centre consists of a husband and wife team – Joseph and Louise Robson. We provide acupuncture based at different clinics in Sheffield & Rotherham.

Training – Both Joseph and Louise qualified at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York (www.chinese-medicine.co.uk) after four years training in traditional Chinese acupuncture.
In addition to this, Louise is a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist and Joseph has undergone further training in Japanese acupuncture styles.
Joseph and Louise are also trained in acupressure and massage techniques.

Professional body – Joseph and Louise are members of the British Acupuncture Council (www.acupuncture.org.uk) and as such are bound by a rigorous code of ethics and practise. All members of this body have undergone extensive training in acupuncture and appropriate biomedical sciences.

Our philosophy – As traditional acupuncturists we believe that a person should be treated holistically – this means that we aim to treat the underlying cause in addition to the immediate problem. The beauty of this approach is that, as well as your symptoms clearing up, you will start to feel better in a number of other ways as the acupuncture enables you to achieve a greater balance, physically, mentally and emotionally.
